Jonah’s Eleventh Month

ten months

to

eleven months

(April 1 - May1)

Jonah is still having a hard time pooping! I have resorted to putting MiraLAX in his formula, every day! That seems to help on some days. One week he got sick and threw up. He had diarrhea all that week, but then went right back to being constipated.

He is completely crawling on all fours now.

His second bottom tooth broke through, as well as one top tooth. He was in a lot of pain with that.

While I change his diaper he likes it when I entertain him, like biting on something like his lotion and Desitin tube and then waving it in front of his face. He likes to swipe at it and it makes him grin. I’ll do whatever it takes to make the diaper changing an easy and efficient process.

He loves it when I say “ma” or “ba”. He will repeat back with a big grin and giggles.

He loves going through the bottom drawer with the boys plates. He also loves getting into the dishwasher and taking out the dirty utensils.

Jonah can turn around at the top of the big stairs and climb down. We are sure to watch him carefully, though.

He likes to eat chunks of food now more than he likes pureed pouches. He loves yogurt and will babble and coo while he is eating it.

He is constantly trying to stand up or climb out of the high chair. We had to resort to tying his feet together to keep him in!

He will sometimes rub his feet together (just like Daddy) while drinking from a bottle when I am putting him to sleep.  He will also massage my sleeve while I am changing him and he is drinking his bottle.

Here are more pictures from the past month:
