Saturday Drive to Cascade Springs

One October Saturday, Jason and I decided to take a drive up American Fork Canyon. We wanted to drive the Alpine Loop while there was still a little color in the leaves and still some warm sunshine. While driving, we decided to take a turn off to Cascade Springs. I had never been there and Jason couldn’t recall ever going there either. We had to drive a little ways, but found a spot where others had parked. We decided to get out and look around. We were so pleased with what we found! Such a beautiful little treasure! The only disappointment was that we hadn’t been there earlier in the year when the colors were at their peak. However, even though the colors were a little faded, we were still able to enjoy such a surprising beauty. We are making it a point to visit earlier next year!
