Kim Gets Married!

The day finally arrived! It was Saturday, April 23rd. We started the morning by dropping off Charlie and Colson with Camry, Tyson, and Bryan in Draper while Jason and I went to the Draper Temple for the ceremony. It was a beautiful ceremony and they both looked really happy and excited. Following the ceremony, we took pictures outside. The forecast said thunderstorms and rain pretty much all day, which was a disappointment, but we seriously lucked out because somehow we got some sun for the outdoor pictures. It was a little windy, but we'll take that over rain. Amy was hired to take the pictures and she did a great job.

George and Nancy met us at the temple parking lot to pick up the boys so they could eat lunch and Colson could take a nap while we attended the luncheon at the Rose Room at Thanksgiving Point. We had chicken cordon bleu for lunch along with other delicious salads and desserts. It pretty much rained solid during the luncheon, so we were reminded just how much we lucked out on pictures.

After lunch we picked up the boys from Alpine and headed to the atrium at Western Gardens to set up and take pictures. It was fun to have so much family in town and to see so many friends. The reception was beautiful and really fun. Jason had the job of emceeing and I was in charge of the music. Family members helped look after the boys at the time we were busy with our duties. My favorite thing was having Coldstone there. It was great!

Kim and Kyle were really sweet and got Charlie and Colson a bucket of fun things to do and eat during the reception!

It was a beautiful wedding and Kimberly made a beautiful bride. We are so excited to have Kyle in the family and we are especially excited to have another married couple around. Congrats Kim and Kyle! We love you guys!
