Onward to June...

While May was very exciting, June was a lot more laid back. I may not remember a whole lot from June, but one thing is for sure....June is the month of birthdays. Just in our immediate families, there are 6 birthdays: my mom, my sister, two of Jason's sisters, one of his brothers, and one of his brothers-in-law. On top of that, you have Father's Day. That's a lot of gift shopping! But also a lot of food and parties!

The Grubers love playing croquet, so George was given a very nice, quality croquet mallet.

Nothing speaks family love like a Sunday afternoon croquet game...

Also during June, Jason's grandparents from California came to visit. It is always a treat whenever we get to see Grandma and Grandpa Banks. Especially memorable was taking them up the American Fork Canyon for a nice pancake breakfast.

It is definitely fun to have a month that we are able to really focus on the family!

Another fun activity taking place around this time was playing soccer on an intramural BYU coed team. Jason and I, along with some of our friends including Zach Winger and Mike and Kaitlyn Pacada, played on a team called Black Goats (Mike picked out the name...hideous!) Kaitlyn and I pretty much had no soccer skills or experience, but we had a fun time putting in evening soccer practice sessions and trying our best during the games. Neither of us scored the entire season (actually, none of the girls did - so embarrassing), but we definitely have high hopes for the next coed season!
