(September 6 - October 5)
Colson is at the point in his life now that he is constantly wanting to watch a show or play a game on the iPad. I remember a time when movies didn’t phase him or keep his attention, but now that is his number one requested thing to do. If those things aren’t available, he wants my phone so he can watch all of the “skipit” videos on Instagram (what he means is all of the PicSkip videos on Instagram).
Colson is obsessed with chocolate milk. He is always asking for it. He also loves Life cereal. He will ask for it first thing in the morning and for every meal and before bed. Of course he doesn’t get it all of those times, but he whines for it.
Lately he has been waking up between 6:30 and 7:00 am again. He is having a little bit of a harder time going down to bed. Sometimes he will cry for a bit.
Colson loves reading books. When we read “Dream Away” he can say the last word of every line with me. He is especially good at that while reading the book with Daddy. There are a couple of other books too that he is able to do that with...some of the rhyming books.
Every time we go to Grandma and Grandpa Grubers, the first thing he asks for is a balloon to carry around. Sometimes he wants it full and sometimes he wants it deflated. Every time we go to Grandma and Grandpa Arbons, the first thing he wants to see is the singing fish. Charlie always runs away crying because he is terrified of the fish. He will run outside to escape the sound of the song (which are "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and "Take Me to the River".
As you can see, Colson is already particular and loves his little routines.
Here are some pictures of Colson from the past month:
