Colson is two years old! I can’t believe it! We ended up having two family parties for him this year. We celebrated a week early with the Gruber side on October 30th in Alpine. We made honey lime enchiladas (a recipe from the Bairds that we love), whipped fruit salad, rice, green salad, and then cookies and ice cream. Colson was very excited when the “Happy Birthday” song continued with HIS name in it. He was thrilled and loved opening all of the presents.
The next week we celebrated with the Arbons at our house. We made pot roast with vegetables, rolls, jello salad, green salad, and then cake and ice cream. Again, he loved opening all of the presents and the extra attention.
After partying and playing with Colson and Charlie for awhile, we put the boys to bed and the adults played Dominion. My parents and Bryan didn’t actually arrive to the party until about 10:00 pm, unfortunately. They had been driving home from St. George after Bryan's final bike race for State when they had car problems. It took them awhile to get it all sorted out, but they still stopped by to say hi to us.
Happy Birthday Colson! You are so full of fun, excitement, personality, craziness, and cuteness! We love you!
